The concept is based on the system of conventional pharmacies. A qualified pharmaceutical authority is responsible for each MedicPort location.

This is not a vending machine where the clients are left to their own devices.

If the client is unsure about how to order medication, they can use direct communication with a pharmacist who will help them as in a conventional pharmacy.

If a prescription drug is not available the pharmacist may suggest a substitute solution, instruct on the use of the medication and can even suggest some additional medications that may be needed to complement the order.
